Samanvay Foundation is the CSR and social development initiative of Samanvay Group, committed to uplifting underprivileged communities through focused work in education, health, hygiene, nutrition, and community welfare.
The foundation has adopted two government schools in Savli village of Vadodara and five Ashram Shalas in the tribal areas of Chhota Udepur, providing continuous support through education programs, health check-ups, hygiene awareness, menstrual health sessions, and infrastructure development. To reach migrant families, it also runs Pathshala schools at four construction sites, offering basic education and care to children of laborers.
Further, the foundation conducts health camps in both rural and urban schools, along with hygiene kit distribution and menstrual hygiene management programs for adolescent girls. In collaboration with the government and The Akshaya Patra Foundation, it operates a nutrition program serving daily meals to over 500–600 laborers, ensuring dignity and nourishment for vulnerable communities.
Through these initiatives, Samanvay Foundation continues its mission to nurture communities, empower lives, and create sustainable, positive change at the grassroots level.
"In addition to its core programs, Samanvay Foundation also undertakes various need-based initiatives such as blanket distribution in rural and urban slum areas, celebrating festivals with school children, and placing donation boxes to support community welfare activities."
To build empowered, healthy, and educated communities where every underprivileged family has the opportunity to grow, thrive, and shape a better future.
To strengthen rural and underprivileged communities by providing access to quality education, healthcare, and livelihood opportunities — creating lasting change that uplifts not just individuals, but entire families and generations.
"Notebook for Every Child" is a need-based educational support initiative aimed at providing essential study materials to underprivileged children across 35+ government and rural schools. Recognizing the barriers faced by students from vulnerable communities, this project ensures that the lack of basic resources like notebooks does not hinder a child's right to learn, grow, and dream.
Through this initiative, we aim to support over 5,500 students by distributing notebooks and other study essentials, fostering an environment where education is accessible, inclusive, and empowering for all.
This drive not only addresses material needs but also spreads awareness about the importance of education in building brighter, more hopeful futures for children in marginalized areas.
Pathshala is an educational initiative by Samanvay Foundation that provides basic learning, recreational activities, and nutritional support to the children of migrant laborers. The project is currently being run at four construction sites, ensuring that children from migrating families, who often miss out on formal education, have a safe space to learn and grow.
Through Pathshala, the foundation aims to bridge educational gaps for these vulnerable children and promote the importance of learning within labor communities.
Our Community Health & Hygiene Project is a holistic initiative focused on promoting the well-being of children and communities in both rural and urban schools. The project conducts regular health camps, offering free medical check-ups, basic healthcare services, and personal health counseling for students and local residents.
In addition to health services, the initiative actively promotes hygiene awareness sessions on personal cleanliness, safe hygiene habits, and disease prevention. It also includes the distribution of hygiene kits to children of Ashram Shaala (government hostel for migrant worker children), encouraging healthier lifestyles.
A key component of the project is menstrual health awareness for adolescent girls in both rural and urban schools. Through sensitization sessions and the distribution of sanitary napkins, the project aims to empower girls with knowledge, confidence, and access to safe menstrual hygiene practices.
This initiative aspires to build healthier, informed, and empowered communities by making essential healthcare, hygiene resources, and awareness accessible to all.
Our Community Nutrition Project is a collaborative initiative undertaken in partnership with the Government and The Akshaya Patra Foundation, aimed at addressing hunger and promoting nutritional well-being among vulnerable labor communities.
Through this project, we serve nutritious, hygienic, and freshly cooked meals to 500–600 laborers daily, ensuring they receive wholesome food that supports their health and energy needs while working in demanding environments.
This initiative not only addresses immediate hunger but also contributes to the long-term goal of promoting food security, health, and dignity for daily-wage laborers and marginalized communities. By working closely with trusted partners and government support, the project ensures timely, efficient, and large-scale delivery of nutritious meals where they’re needed most.
