ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Source and recruit candidates from multiple sources i.e Social Networking, Head Hunting, Cold Calling, Recruitment Portals, databases etc.
  • Planning human resource requirements in consultation with Team Leaders and Managers of different departments and coordination selection interviews.
  • Providing clear job definition to the candidates, screening for performance, testing competencies and conducting targeted interviews.
  • Identifying candidates on the basis of technical and non-technical requirements, scheduling and conducting interviews and verifying candidate’s credentials & career expectations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • The Civil Engineer will be responsible to supervise the day today management of the site which includes monitoring the site labour force and the work of subcontractors.
  • Construction activities, providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction &coordination with site management activities including HSE management.
  • Must be well verse with related International Engineering and Construction Codes and Standards.
  • Fully conversant in computer operations with emphasis on the current version of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and Project Management Software (Microsoft Project and/or Primavera).
  • Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives set out, level and survey the site.
  • Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations.
  • Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
    oversee the selection and requisition of materials.
  • Agree a price for materials and make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project.
